A non-banking financial institution based in Miami-FL, specialized in Commercial Real Estate mortgage lending is looking to hire a Loan Specialist – Senior Processor with vast experience in Commercial Real Estate lending.


This person will be working directly with the borrowers, underwriters, outside counsel and company executives in handling loan contracts and other documents for a Commercial Real Estate loan portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Works with insurance policies and related reports, contacts agents; works closely with loan officers and borrowers to ensure proper insurance is received and maintained

  • Handhold with borrower from Loan application all the way until closing

  • Works Real Estate Tax Reports and performs escrow analysis and disbursement of insurance and or tax payments.

  • Performs new account system maintenance including but not limited to manual boarding of loans when necessary.

  • Provides excellent customer service and assists in resolving problems within given authority.

  • Assist the Lending Team in the preparation of commercial Real estate loan documentation

  • Assist with drafting, negotiating and coordinating distribution of various legal documents, loan agreements, promissory notes, due diligence documents, closing documents, loan documents, lease amendments, exhibits, assignments, etc.

  • Assist with preparation of commercial construction contracts and work with contractors and sub-contractors regarding contract questions, status of permits, certificates of insurance, etc.

  • May act as the primary contact with borrowers; to answer any questions and prepare Loan correspondence (default letters, approval letters, etc.);

  • Calculate, document, calendar and track critical dates;

  • Maintain accurate paper and electronic project files;

  • Work with outside counsel and borrowers in the preparation if loan documentation

  • Schedule and coordinate conference calls and meetings.




  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with constantly changing priorities, meet deadlines, work independently and follow through on assignments

  • Must have a pleasant attitude and be a team player.

  • At least 5+ years prior experience with Commercial Real Estate Lending

  • At least an Associates Degree / Paralegal Certified (a plus).

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents.

  • The ability to follow and understand complex instructions and maintain written/electronic records.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Extremely detailed and proficient in multi-tasking.

  • This is a full time position that requires someone who is a self-starter, has a positive attitude, is willing to learn and develop their knowledge, and adapts well to change. Able to perform under little to no supervision
