Payroll Manager’s Job Responsibilities:
Completes payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple states.
The Payroll Manager will reconcile payroll time punches against time clock for accuracy.
Onboard new employees with setting up direct deposit
Process garnishments, tax levies, child support and any other items for selected employees.
The Payroll Manager will also administer the employee benefits program including overseeing enrollment, answering questions, and ensure payroll deduction is processing properly.
Register Company for payroll in new States as company continues to grow.
Payroll Manager’s Qualifications / Skills:
5+ years’ experience in a Payroll or Payroll Manager position
Multi-state payroll for companies with 500 employees or larger
CPP, FCP or CEB certification a plus
ADP Workforce NOW experience a plus
Prevailing Wage experience a plus
Excel skills – intermediate
General math skills
Education Requirements for the Payroll Manager:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus
