Ascendo Resources LLC has partnered with an established manufacturing client in Southeast Houston that has an immediate Office/Administrative Assistant position available!


 


The Office/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Director of Operations and Sales Managers with traditional administrative support activities (answering phones, routing calls, preparing reports, calendar management, maintaining office supply and equipment inventory levels, coordinating company and customer events, etc.).


 


The Office/Administrative Assistant will also be crossed-trained on basic accounting functions (accounts payable / accounts receivable).



The ideal Office / Administrative Assistant will possess the following qualifications:



  • No less than 2 years broad-based administrative support skills;

  • Intermediate MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel capabilities;

  • Familiarity with MS PowerPoint;

  • Effective organizational and communication skills;

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;

  • Light accounting (AP/AR) experience a plus but NOT required.
