HR Manager: 

Fast growing Miami based entertainment company is seeking HR Manager to maintain and enhance their human resources division:  by planning, implementing and executing on HR policies, programs, and practices.

Position Title:  HR Manager

Location: Miami, Florida 

Salary:  $75K-$90K + annual bonus

Technical Skill Set Required:

  • Lead on-boarding of new employees

  • Supervise payroll, medical and benefits processes.

  • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts

  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; maintaining records

  • Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Handle employee relations issues in a timely and effective fashion. Serve as advocate to both employee and company regarding policies, employee performance, work environment and conflict issues. Serve as primary contact for receiving and investigating employee concerns.

  • Work with managers to help define and clarify roles and responsibilities. Partner with management regarding department organization to ensure effective utilization of resources.


Recommended Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in HR

  • Background in entertainment preferred

  • Experience with a remote workforce and contractors

  • Self-starter who is able to work independently.

  • Experience as the sole HR person at a company

  • Experience at a company during a period of fast expansion
