Our inner north east Houston client is searching for a part-time HR Specialist to join their team in a newly created position!!! This fabulous opportunity could be great for those with school age children or those just wanting part time work. Hours can be 9a - 2p or 10a - 3p M-F!!!
This role does not require a degree but 3 - 15 years of experience in Payroll administration (they use Paycheck), benefit programs (401K, health/dental insurance, COBRA), OSHA compliance, Federal/State/Local regulation compliance, OSHA reporting and compliance, employee file maintenance, recruiting, new hire activities, and more.
The client has asked for experience in creating a handbook policy/ability to update and development of training programs if possible.

High School diploma required; college level courses (especially in HR) a strong plus
Any HR credentials would be welcomed
3 - 15 years of experience in benefits, payroll, OSHA, worker's compensation, recruiting/new hire, and more
Paycheck experience highly desired (Payroll and 401K)
Professional communication style with a commitment to confidentiality
Any employee training program creation a plus
Ability to create/update Policy Handbook a strong plus
Must be reliable with a commitment to the company's HR needs
