Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
·The Business and Technology Analyst will work closely with the technical and compliance officer teams. This person is a major contributor to the requirements specification process and writes the business requirements. The Analyst understands Compliance and ensures that there is integration between the Compliance Officers and technology.
·This individual will need to understand the business needs and determine how our applications will functionally fulfill those needs. Combine the knowledge of what Compliance Officers wants with the knowledge of how the systems are built and used to create a functional design with technology. This Analyst will help define the process, screen flows, data requirements, help manage the expectations, support development, assist in planning, and execute on testing.
·The team member should comprehend the business processes, understand current procedures, and possess a strong ability to implement process changes and improvements.
·Consult with business partners to define and identify the problems, pain points, and business cases

·Creates detailed Project Definition Documents (PDDs Risk Analysis, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and work with the technology teams to translate the BRDs into Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
·Negotiates on product functionalities with the Compliance Offers and the Technology Teams to lead each project to completion
·Ability to create and document test plans
·Create and deliver presentations, including road maps to illustrate schedules, and dependencies to senior management on project progress, business value, goals, critical path, key issues, risks, changes, and dependencies
· 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+
years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills • Six Sigma Green Belt certification • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or IT • Experience in taking a leadership role with tasks and initiatives • 4+ years of experience working as a Functional, Data, or Business Analyst • Manage multiple projects associated with specific businesses related to Compliance and or in the Securities Industry • Knowledge of the prescribed SDLC project methodology and deliverables
